Rings of Power soundtrack thoughts ...

So I’m doing screencaps of Numenor and Miriel (she’s so beautiful I can look at her forever no wait that’s not what this post is about save it) and in order to get them I’m just watching the scenes with audio and I’m noticing something about the Elendil and Isildur theme ... namely that it’s playing a few times when neither of them are in the scene.

So far I’ve noticed it in the scene where Galadriel breaks into the tower and during her conversation with Miriel about faith (this is after she’s seen the vision in the palantir) and after she says ‘let Numenor fight along the elves once more’ and before Miriel replies with ‘faith may bind one heart’, there is a tiiiiiiiny sliver of the Elendil & Isildur theme.

The second scene is when the petals are falling and the song White Leaves is playing, which contains snippets from different themes actually I went to Spotify to check and it literally goes from the Numenor theme to the Elendil & Isildur theme with a little dropping leaves theme sprinkled in between, and when the camera is focusing on the actual tree there is a shot of a good few seconds (6 seconds to be exact) where the Elendil & Isildur theme is already playing (the orchestral rendition). Like, technically Elendil is in this scene, but there is room enough to chose a different theme. but. they didn’t. The shot goes to the tree first, as the theme is already playing, then back to Miriel in the alleyway, and thén to Elendil.

Anyway I just thought that was neat and you can probably derive from the above what I’m thinking right now. 🙃

Hello everyone I wanted to share a very interesting variegated rose that grew in my garden. Fully developed branches like this are super rare because white leaves usually wilt really early because they have no protection against the sun.

Also, the leaves appear white becauste they lack chlorophyll, the green pigment and thus cannot photosynthetize on their own. All the nutrients are provided by the rest of the plant.

A cute white rat enjoying the beautiful fall colors of a backyard dogwood tree! After so many cats from me, it was time for a rat! Autumn is drawing to a close but the leaves have been so beautiful, really giving me morale.

COUGH I am so (not) sorry this is also roleswapverse. We talked about having a plotline take place in a fancy event at some point (potentially: at Docfather's casino)(which probably is invite only, so Ariana and Pearl Moon as a reporter were invited ;3), and then I blacked out and this appeared on my screen,
